Experience
No prior coaching experierce required, training provided.
Practices
Grades K - 2 will normally practice once a week in the late afternoon.
Grades 3 - 6 will normally practice twice a week in the evenings.
Practices begin in mid to late November.
Games
Girls in grades 3 - 6 will play on Monday evenings. Home games for Truro Based teams will play at Truro Central School. Away games will be played from Provincetown to Harwich.
Boys in grades 3 - 6 will play on Wednesday evenings. Home games for Truro Based teams will play at Truro Central School. Away games will be played from Provincetown to Harwich.
Games begin the first week in January
Head Coach / Assistant Coaches
We will determine the Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches. The Head Coach is responsible for the team and will determine how practices and games are managed.
Cancellations
The cancellation of team practices will be determined by coaches. Please try to notify the team and the Truro Recreation Office at least 2 hours prior to practice time. If we are able, we will use an automated calling system called One Call Now. This system will call, text, and email the parents of your team’s players to notify them of any schedule changes.
The cancellation of games will be determined by the home team’s Recreation Department.
