LCPC Public Forum - 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 15th

Truro's Local Comprehensive Planning Committee will hold a public forum from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2023, at the Truro Community Center to discuss and provide feedback on the draft vision statement, and goals and objectives.

Childcare and food will be provided.

The Local Comprehensive Plan (LCP) is an important planning tool used to guide the growth and direction of Truro while balancing a wide variety of needs, including economic growth, protection of environmental resources, quality of life, and community character. The plan identifies the needs, goals, and visions for the next five to 10 years of Truro’s future and translates them into an implementation plan that can be carried out over time. The final document will include assessments of existing resources and issues, projections of future conditions and needs, and consideration of collective goals and desires.
