Truro Shellfish Areas to reopen at Sunrise on Friday, March 9th, 2018

The Division of Marine Fisheries has determined that shellfish areas closed on March 1, 2018 due to a coastal storm, will meet the National Shellfish Sanitation Program guidelines for an "OPEN" status. Areas will revert to their former status prior to the closure of March 1, 2018 effective at sunrise on Friday, March 9, 2018.
**Therefore, clamming on the bay-side beaches may resume at sunrise on Friday, March 9th, 2018 and shell-fishing in the Pamet will resume on its regular day of Sunday, March 11th.**
