Town of Truro February 2024 Community Survey: Planning for Special Town Meeting and Annual Town Meeting
The Town of Truro would like to receive your suggestions for Special Town Meeting and Annual Town Meeting, to help inform our planning. We are committed to providing citizens with a Special Town Meeting and Annual Town Meeting that enables all citizens to participate fully, effectively, and confidently in the proceedings. We need your feedback in order to be able to do so.
There are several factors and limitations that the town must take into consideration and account for as we plan for the events. These factors limit our ability to be fully responsive to community feedback and wishes. Therefore, we believe that it is important for citizens to be aware of these challenges and limitations as we continue planning. We also welcome ideas on how to address these challenges. These include: technology, traffic control, parking, lighting, ADA compliance/accessibility, outdoor tent heating, synchronizing activities/votes on different properties, and the ability to accommodate 1,000 community members.
