Shellfishing remains CLOSED at Pamet Harbor

Pending Water Quality Results
Pamet Closed

Due to abnormally warm temperatures, recreational shellfishing at Pamet Harbor will remain CLOSED until water quality samples are confirmed safe by the Division of Marine Fisheries. "We've had this cold snap and the temperatures have dropped and been consistent, so fingers crossed," said Shellfish Constable, Tony Jackett. The next round of samples will be taken on Monday, November 28, 2022.

We apologize for the inconvenience and will be sure to keep the public informed with an opening date!
