Minutes of Meeting of March 29, 2019
Truro Town Hall

Present: Co-Chair Deborah McCutcheon, Co-Chair Mary Rose; Maureen Cronin, Richard Larkin, Jane Petterson, Bonnie Sollog
Regrets: Robert Lowe, Peter Herridge

Co-Chair Deborah McCutcheon called the meeting to order at 4:15 p.m.

Minutes of 2/1/19
Mary Rose moved to approve the minutes of February 1, 2019.  Richard Larkin seconded, and the motion carried 6-0.

Letter to CDP Re: Cape Institute Participants
CPC members examined a draft letter to the Community Development Partnership, stating stipulations for the grant and requesting clarification of eligibility for participants.  A revised letter will be sent to CDP. 

Richard Larkin moved to send the revised letter to CDP.  Maureen Cronin seconded, and the motion carried 6-0. 

Selectmen’s Meeting
Deborah McCutcheon and Maureen Cronin will attend the Selectmen’s meeting on April 4, 2019 to discuss the Warrant Articles

Warrant Articles
The Committee reviewed the CPC Warrant Articles for Annual Town Meeting.

Bonnie Sollog moved to recommend the revised Warrant CPC Article, Section 5 for Administrative Support in the amount of $28,148.  Petterson seconded, and the motion carried 6-0.

Planning for Pre-Town Meeting and Annual Town Meeting
Deborah McCutcheon, Mary Rose, Bonnie Sollog, Jane Petterson plan on attending Pre-Town on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.  Deborah McCutcheon and Mary Rose will present the CPC Articles at Annual Town Meeting on Tuesday, April 30, 2019.

Project Concerns & Updates
Deborah McCutcheon asked for further guidance on the Great Hollow Beach project.  She has been discussing deed restrictions with the Truro Conservation Trust and is preparing a letter to clarify the CPC’s position. 

Mary Rose moved to send the revised letter to the Truro Conservation Trust.  Bonnie Sollog seconded, and the motion carried 6-0. 

Next Meeting Agenda
The next meeting will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019.  Agenda will include:  Town Meeting results for CPC Articles, monitor assignments, preparation of letters and agreements for approved FY20 projects, and the CDP grant.

Adjournment
Mary Rose moved to adjourn.  Bonnie Sollog seconded, and the motion carried 6-0.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:11 p.m.
