2023 Shellfish Season Ended Sunday, April 16th

The last Sunday for shellfishing at Pamet Harbor was on Sunday, April 16, 2023.
In general, the harvesting season extends from November 1st to the last Sunday in March, dependent upon levels of pollution and water quality results as required by the Commonwealth. With consultation from the Shellfish Advisory Committee, the Warden holds discretion on the opening and closing dates for the season. All permits are valid from November through October of the following year.
Clamming is allowed year-round.
