In February of 2008, the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) (now known as Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC)) enacted the Housing Production Plan (HPP) regulation 760 CMR 56.03(4). An HPP is a proactive strategy for planning and developing affordable housing and is certified by DHCD (now EOHLC). The term of a Plan is five years.
Truro's current HPP was approved by EOHLC on June 24, 2025, and with a five-year term, will expire on June23, 2030.
