Cold Weather Advisory Overnight 1/30; Winter Weather 2/1
Truro Emergency Management Team Update:
Snow is expected to arrive early Sunday morning (after midnight Saturday) through Sunday night. The steadiest snow will occur during the day. Snow amounts are still uncertain; current modeling shows a medium confidence level of 4-6 inches for the Mid-Cape and 3-4 inches for the Outer Cape. Travel may be difficult. Gusty winds and steadier snow will lead to periods of low visibility.
Additionally, there is a Coastal Flood Watch in effect Sunday into Monday, as there may be moderate flooding around high tides, as well as a Storm Watch and Gale Warning.
If there are any emergencies related to the storm, residents are asked to call 911. For non-emergency information and general inquiries, please call the main number 508-487-8730.
