New Building Permit Application
Starting 2014 with a change: the Building Department has re-vamped their application to be more streamline. The application now consists of 1 page, double sided and a checklist and workers compensation document to follow.
We felt that the application was becoming too congested and that it had too many overlapping sections. We feel this will make the Applicant's paperwork process a bit smoother and easier to follow. Most of the requirements are the same as they are mandated by the State, so Applicant's will still see a lot of the same questions on this new application that they saw on the old one.
The documents are attached to this notice and will be placed on the Building Department website under "Applications".
We will still accept the old applications because we are sure that there are some lingering out there.
