Baker-Polito Administration Announces COVID- 19 Travel Guidelines, Online Healthcare Tool, and New Income Tax Deadline
On March 27, 2020, the Baker-Polito Administration announced the following COVID-19 public health responses:
Travel Guidance—All travelers travelling to Massachusetts should self-quarantine for 14 days. Visitors are instructed not to travel to Massachusetts if they are displaying symptoms. Health care workers, public health workers, public safety workers, transportation workers and designated essential workers are exempt from this requirement.
Buoy Health Care Tool—A new free online resource launched to help residents check for COVID-19 symptoms and connect with the next appropriate health care resource. The tool is available 24/7 and can be found here.
The 2019 state individual income tax filing and payment deadline is extended to July 15th to match the deadline for filing dederal individual income taxes. More information is available here.
