Position Available: Department of Public Works-Assistant Transfer Station Attendant/Assistant Custodian
Description: Complete manual and administrative work in the operation of the Town's Transfer Station and to provide maintenance and custodian responsibilities of all non-school buildings and grounds of the town, including but not limited to the Truro Town Hall, Community Center, Library, Public Safety Facility, DPW garased, office buildings, and any other buildings and their surrounding grounds.
Salary: Hourly Rage: 26.00 - $27.45 per hours, based on experience and additional licenses
Special Requirements: Massachusetts Class A Commercial Driver's License preferred, with Air Brake Endorsement. 2A, and 1C Hoisting License preferred. Possession of a valid drivers' license required, must have a good driving record.

Position Available: Department of Public Works - Truck Driver
Description: Perform a variety of routine and repetitive tasks as a member of the crew on assigned location; manual work assisting in construction, maintenance or repair projects; operates a variety of light and heavy motor equipment; performs all other related work as required. 40 hours per week, year-round, union position.
Salary: Hourly Range: $29.69 to $31.18, based on qualifications. Benefits-eligible position.
Special Requirements: Massachusetts C.D.L. Class A License with Air Brake Endorsement (Required) Possession of a MA Class 2A, 1C, Hoisting License (Required) Per C.D.L requirements must pass drug and alcohol screening. Class B license holders will be considered.
