Tuesday Talk: Herbal Home Remedies- Building your home herbal apothecary one plant at a time.

We will focus on boiled hot water as a method of extraction for 4 common herbs that are easy to grow, harvest or obtain locally: Ginger, Rosemary, Lemon Balm, and Linden flower. For each of these herbs we will discuss traditional western herbalism applications with focus on potential herbal safety drug interactions and best preparation strategies. This class does not promote use of herbs to treat any illness. Alyssa has been a student of medicinal plants for over 25 years. Alyssa has studied herbalism all over the US and now has landed her practice on Cape Cod.
