Truro TV (18) - Home

Truro TV is Truro's name for it's Government access channel. This is our home on the web. The channel can be viewed on Channel 18 on the Comcast Cable System for those whose Service Address is in the 2 Truro zip codes: 02666, 02652.

Our interactive schedule on the web shows both our broadcast schedule and can be searched for any program in or library. Most programs found there can be viewed on demand by clicking on the View or Watch Now link. For additional information and help on videos, please click on the blue question mark icon:

Government Access

Each of the Towns (Brewster, Orleans, Eastham, Truro and Provincetown) has its own channel for Government Programming on Channel 18. The channel broadcast by each town is only available to those whose Comcast Service Address is within the Town, In our case that is 02666, and 02652.

Wellfleet government programming is currently broadcast over channel 17 until they are prepared and equipped to have their own channel.

Public & Educational Access

Public and Educational programming is broadcast by Lower Cape Community Access Television, Inc. (LCCAT) on behalf of the 5 towns (Brewster, Orleans Eastham, Wellfleet and Truro) and is viewable in the 5 towns. Provincetown has its own Channel 17 which is viewable only in Provincetown.

When both Comcast and LCCAT are ready, there will be a separate channel shared by the 5 town for educational programming

Training and Equipment

Lower Cape Community Access Television, Inc. (LCCAT) provides free training, equipment, studio time and broadcast time on their channels to qualified members.
