General Information:

In accordance with the Charter passed at ATM, April 22, 1992, Section 5-4-2, the Town Manager shall be the appointing authority. The Department of Public Works maintains all town buildings and infrastructure.

Public Works Garage Hours:

Open 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Transfer Station Hours:

*Please note seasonal hours of operation. The transfer station is closed on federal holidays observed by the Town of Truro.

Open 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Daily - May 1 - September 30

Open: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday - Tuesday (CLOSED Wednesday and Thursday) - October 1 - April 30

*Please note: PERMIT REQUIRE TO ENTER TRANSFER STATION. Residents can check the status of their transfer station permit by visiting the following link: Town of Truro, MA License Plate Lookup. Email reminders will be sent to people who have previously purchased permits online.
