General Information

In accordance with the Charter passed at ATE, April 22, 1993, the Board of Selectmen shall be the appointing authority under the provisions of Chapter 6-4-1. Membership changed from 9 members to 11 and 1 Alternate on February 8, 2000.  Meetings held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. at the COA.

Mission

The mission of the Truro Council on Aging is to identify the needs and interests of the community's elderly; to educate the community and enlist support and participation of all citizens concerning these needs and interests; to design, promote, and carry out programs; and to coordinate existing services within our community.
